We are happy to report our project in Dorset is proceeding apace – the scaffolding around the house is up, creating an interesting spatial effect of a frame within a frame.
On the other hand, the process of stripping away is revealing odd empty spaces with signs of a place having been lived in. The remnant of a fireplace and painted walls bring forth a strange poetic quality that reminds us of Rachel Whiteread’s sculptures.

Wow, these photos really show how different the house was from what it has been transformed into now!
