Some exciting news this week from Belsize Park! Sanya Polescuk Architects joins Square Feet Architects and XUL Architecture to form Belsize Village Hub to welcome this year’s London Festival of Architecture to Hampstead.
Three innovative local architecture practices have come together to showcase the creative process of design. With joined efforts we have organized a fun and engaging two-part event for those of all ages interested in architecture.
The event starts in the village square (Belsize Terrace, NW3 4AX) where we will be hosting a family-based activity for visitors to create their own ideal ‘Belsize Village Square’. (Think ‘hands-on’ designing – e.g. chalkboard table, paper-cut out buildings, coloured pencils…)
In addition, we will be opening our studio doors for visitors to see our latest projects, completed and ‘on the drawing board’, and a chance for budding architects to enquire about the field.
Free half-hour design surgeries are also being offered. Sign up will be in the village square on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. If interested, please remember to bring along some photos or sketches of where you work, rest or play, so the practices can help to inspire your space.
The Belsize Village Hub and Sanya Polescuk Architects looks forward to welcoming you Thursday, 11 June!
