On our most-recently completed project we were lucky that our clients shared the same attitude towards the environment as we do. They were supportive in our specifying sustainable, low-carbon materials like timber and timber-based in preference to phenolics and polystyrene for insulation or steel and concrete for structure.
As a result, timber fibre insulates the building and timber framing dominates the new and the openings in the existing structure.
