Building sites are full of unexpected finds. This time it’s the pattern galore, found at the site’s perimeters, adjoining the old garden walls.
Only a few weeks ago the old, decaying finishes were covered in the myriad of organic growth caused by the long-standing roof leak.
Those are now gone, together with the old timber structure, the presence of which is still detectable by the regular pattern of the oblong holes formed in the brickwork.
The new is slowly arriving too, making a statement with a surprising, intricate sunlight pattern formed at the junction of ply sheets that form the new roof.Stay tuned, there will be much more coming over the next few months.
