This beautiful view of a shared garden belongs to our new project. We are thrilled to be working on the transformation of a historic house in West London with an intriguing history.
Built in mid XIX century as a residential property the house went through many changes over the years, the most structurally invasive undertaken just about 50 years ago.
During the site investigations, the unusual concrete and steel elements were uncovered which led us into an interesting story. Converted into a hotel, the building suffered a devastating fire in 1974 during which the timber floors were completely destroyed.
After the fire the building was re-built as flats. The new concrete floors appeared throughout and have been hidden underneath layers of plywood boards, timber joists, plasterboards and carpets. Luckily, the beautiful setting remained untouched and will become a focal point of our design. Stay tuned!
