Today we are pleased to announce that we are founding partners of NW3 CLT, a new local branch of The National Community Land Trust Network!
To commemorate our announcement, today we have submitted our first bid for an exciting residential conversion in Hampstead. The project is for a redevelopment of Wells Court, a prominent Victorian housing block on Oriel Place, right in the centre of Hampstead Village. The owner is LB Camden and the building is a recently decommissioned shelter for the elderly, and ripe for redevelopment for some new housing. NW3 CLT thinks it is a perfect opportunity to provide affordable housing by gently adapting the existing layout to create 15no new units for Immediate Rental, and 6no units for sale (2no of would be new rooftop penthouses).
