Contractor’s work on site is starting to resemble our work on desktop. Covid-time made it more difficult but it sure hadn’t stopped it.
We love site visits. They are not only useful, but a lot of fun as well! Last week we spotted Erno Goldfinger’s influence in juxtaposition of different materials and colours. This week, one of our builders decided to test our knowledge of Le Corbusier, presenting his own version of the famous Modulor.
Today another set of photographs from site showing juxtaposition of different colours of materials. It’s always exciting to see our projects coming to an end. This time, we decided to do a comparison of a single bedroom. Worn out carpet and flaking paint have been swept out to achieve a cosy bedroom with an interesting, open ceiling with exposed structure and nice view from the window. Thanks to the…

DetailsWe enjoy all stages of architectural projects but demolition is definitely one of our favourites. Stripping-out the old is a good lesson in history and it has been no different this time. We discovered two redundant staircases, one on top of another dramatically cut in the middle. Look closer and you will see the lower…
DetailsIt’s not a secret that we have a weakness for terraced houses of London, especially Mews Houses. Here’s one example from Belsize Park we’re currently working on. The picture is our artist’s impression of a top floor, serving as a kitchen/living area for family of 4.
